Explanation and elucidation

Use the word map to follow the relation among na (not), nara-adhamāḥ (one who lazily follows one’s lower nature), and āśhritāḥ (surrender). Ask what changes between the first and last term, and how that movement contributes to knowledge of Krishna and his energies. State the connection in your own words, then check it against Bhagavad-gita 7.15.

Original school explanation. Written independently from the Sanskrit word map. It is not a quotation, translation, or summary of a named modern commentary. Chapter lens: Map material and conscious energies, knowledge of Kṛṣṇa, māyā, approaches to divinity and the rarity of full knowledge.
